Nightshift Creative was nominated and selected as the 2020 beer label artist for Heavy Seas Beer 15 Bbl Brewhouse exclusive taproom releases. Heavy Seas has over 25 years of beer brewing in Baltimore, MD and, through their 15 Bbl Brewhouse brand, are able to take ‘brewing risks’ and experiment with small batches of innovative beer recipes. Their flagship beers like Loose Cannon IPA and Peg Leg Imperial Stout are available in states all up and down the East coast.

Solution
The 2020 line up consisted of traditional IPAs and pilsners in addition to more adventurous flavors like key lime pie IPA, chocolate desert stout, skylite snowball IPA, mimosa sour, and a fuzzy navel IPA. With this in mind, we put pen to paper to create beer label designs as wild and risky as the beers they represented, including labels for their 24th and 25th anniversary beers.
